The brushes are made with silky-soft synthetic squirrel hair. This high-quality synthetic hair closely mimics the properties of natural squirrel hair and offers excellent absorption of water and pigment. The fine, deep-black hairs release paint gradually and evenly, making them particularly pleasant to work with for watercolour, washes and soft colour transitions.

While the M-20 is particularly well suited to watercolour, the brushes can be used with all types of paint. The short, black lacquered handles feel comfortable in the hand and provide excellent control during painting.
