Which Muspaneel suits you?
Every artist has their own preference. Some prefer working on a grey, textured top layer, while others prefer a smooth white top layer. The thickness of the panel, its finish and the type of board material can also play a role.
All Muspanels are made in the Netherlands, ready to use and suitable for a wide range of painting and drawing techniques, including acrylic, oil, airbrush and graphite.
Below you will find a clear overview of the properties of the different Muspanels.

*Standard Round-Line and Oval-Line Muspanels are made to the same specifications as the Silver-Line. For custom-made panels, Study-Line and Gold-Line versions are also available.
Study-Line
The Study-Line forms the basis of the Mus range. The panel is made from 6 mm MDF with a grey, textured top layer. The sides and back have a natural finish. A versatile Muspaneel suitable for both studies and finished works of art.

Silver-Line
The Silver-Line is made from 9 mm MDF and features a grey, textured top layer. The sides are finished in grey and the back is lacquered, giving the panel a neat, fully finished appearance.

Gold-Line
The Gold-Line has the same construction as the Silver-Line, but features a smooth white top layer and white finished sides. This provides a light painting surface with the same refined finish as the Silver-Line.

Diamond-Line
The Diamond-Line features a mirror-smooth white top layer built up from multiple layers. The back has a dark finish and a bevelled edge.

Green-Line
The Green-Line is made from moisture-resistant MDF and is available with a white, grey or umber top layer. The sides and back have a natural finish.

Round-Line & Oval-Line
In addition to rectangular Muspanels, round and oval panels are also available.
The standard Round-Line and Oval-Line are made to the same specifications as the Silver-Line, with a grey, textured top layer and a fully finished appearance. For custom-made panels, you can also choose a Study-Line or Gold-Line version.
